Issues Related to Computer Ethics

Computer Security
    ~ is a branch of computer technology known as information security as applied to computers and networks. The objective of computer security includes protection of information and property from theft, corruption, or natural disaster, while allowing the information and property to remain accessible and productive to its intended users.
Information Privacy
    ~ Information privacy, or data privacy is the relationship between collection and dissemination of data, technology, the public expectation of privacy, and the legal and political issues surrounding them.
Intellectual Property
    ~ is a term referring to a number of distinct types of creations of the mind for which property rights are recognised--and the corresponding fields of law.
Computer Addiction
    ~ Computer addiction, or more broadly computer overuse, is excessive or compulsive use of computers that interferes with daily life. It can also cause social disorders and can also cause sleep deprivation.
Computer Crime
    ~ Computer crime, or cybercrime, refers to any crime that involves a computer and a network, where the computers may or may not have played an instrumental part in the commission of a crime. Netcrime refers, more precisely, to criminal exploitation of the Internet.
A Hacker
    ~ is a person who breaks into computers and computer networks, either for profit or motivated by the challenge.
Pornography
    ~ Pornography or porn is the portrayal of explicit sexual subject matter for the purposes of sexual excitement and erotic satisfaction.
Malware
    ~ Malware, short for malicious software, is software designed to infiltrate a computer system without the owner's informed consent. Malware includes computer viruses, worms, trojan horses, spyware, dishonest adware, crimeware, most rootkits, and other malicious and unwanted software.
